Llanthony Priory, Church Road, Llanthony, Abergavenny NP7 7NN, UK
About the event
Starting at the atmospheric ruins of Llanthony Priory, we'll explore the surrounding Llanthony Valley on a relaxed, roughly 5 mile circular walk, taking time along the way to stop, look and create.
This is not a traditional guided walk or an art workshop in a hall. Instead, we're bringing the two together, using the landscape itself as our inspiration and classroom.

There will also be time to properly pause and enjoy the surroundings, with a relaxed lunchtime stop somewhere beautiful along the route. Bring your own packed lunch and drinks, find a comfortable spot, and enjoy a chance to sit, chat and take in the landscape before we continue our walk
Adrienne will introduce you to drawing and mixed-media techniques, helping you explore different ways of capturing what you see. We'll embrace the plein air tradition of creating outdoors, responding directly to the colours, shapes, textures and character of the surrounding…
