About the event
There is something magical about the Gower coast in winter.
As the summer visitors disappear, thousands of wading birds and wildfowl arrive to spend the colder months amongst the saltmarshes, mudflats and dunes of one of Britain's finest National Nature Reserves.
Join me for a gentle guided walk alongside conservationist Jake Cohen for a fascinating day discovering this remarkable landscape and the wildlife that calls it home.
Jake works for the National Trust and has an incredible passion for birds and conservation. Whether you're a complete beginner or already enjoy birdwatching, you'll quickly find yourself caught up in his infectious enthusiasm. This isn't about ticking species off a list, it's about slowing down, noticing the wildlife around us, and understanding why this special corner of Wales is so important.
