About the event
Join me and guest conservationist Jake Cohen for a special summer evening nature walk exploring the beautiful riverside landscapes around the village of Llangynidr in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park 🐦⬛

Starting at 6pm, this relaxed circular walk of roughly 4 miles will wander through fields, alongside the River Usk, and along a peaceful stretch of the Brecon & Monmouth Canal, all surrounded by the hills and mountains of the National Park. Llangynidr itself is one of the most beautiful villages in the Usk Valley, sitting between river and canal with wonderful mountain views in every direction. The River Usk here is particularly striking, with huge boulders and rocky channels creating dramatic rapids when the river is in full flow.
Throughout the evening, Jake will share fascinating insights from his work in conservation, upland farming, birdlife, and nature recovery across Wales. This walk is designed as a relaxed and…
